Benefits for Health Authorities
The use of eduroam in clinical spaces provides a number of potential benefits for Health Authorities:
- Reduces the need for additional wireless infrastructure to support education throughout clinical sites, since the solution runs on existing infrastructure.
- Separates the management of educational wireless users from clinical wireless users, which reduces the need to set-up clinical guest accounts and provide support to educational users.
- Allows Health Authorities to broadcast only one SSID to provide wireless access for all educational wireless users.
